On August 3, 2018, celebrated TV presenter Betty Kyallo marked the end of an eight-year chapter at KTN, and her fans, including prominent figures, took to social media to bid her farewell.
Among those who sent out congratulatory messages was renowned human rights lawyer Makau Mutua, who has been described by ODM leader Raila Odinga as his 'ideological soul mate'. Mutua's message was a rare display of public appreciation for Kyallo's work.
