Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been at the center of speculation about his future at Old Trafford, but club legend Bryan Robson has urged him to focus on pre-season training and put the rumors aside.
Robson, who spent 13 years at the club, made his comments in an interview with Sky Sports, where he emphasized the importance of Pogba giving his all to the team and the fans.
“You’re a United player, you’re contracted to them so you have to give everything for the club, the team and the fans,” Robson said.
Robson also advised Pogba to get his head down and do his pre-season training as well as he can, which he has reportedly done in the training sessions.
Manchester United, who finished sixth last season, kick off their new league campaign against Chelsea at Old Trafford on August 11.
Pogba, who moved to United from Juventus in 2016 for a then-world record fee of 89.3 million pounds, has produced inconsistent displays despite scoring 31 goals in 142 appearances in all competitions.
