On July 12, 2019, socialite Vera Sidika was on the Trend, where she officially launched her new song 'Mimi'. During the interview, Amina Abdi was joined by Jackson Rakama, aka Jegede, who showed up with a bouquet of flowers for Vera.
It's no secret that Jegede has been head over heels in love with Vera, but things took a surprising turn when she dropped a bombshell on him - she already has a boyfriend.
Despite this, Jegede remained hopeful and even presented a poem to Vera, expressing his undying love for her.
"Vera, I have always loved you from way back. And words can't explain my undying love for you. You're everything I ever needed and more. A lot has been said about me, my love towards you. People think I'm after something. I'm not after money. I just want to share my love with you. I just want you to accept me the way I am," he read.
However, Vera's response was not what Jegede had hoped for. She told him that she has a boyfriend and that he should respect her decision.
"I appreciate you a lot but I have a boyfriend and here's here [kenya] you know," she said.
Despite this, Jegede remained optimistic and told Vera that he would wait for her, saying "I'll wait for you. I won't give up."
But it seems that Jegede's love for Vera may not be reciprocated, as Vera has since posted photos of her current boyfriend, who is quite the handsome hunk.
