Published on July 15, 2019, socialite Vera Sidika has been open about her preference for male friends over female ones.
According to an interview with Amina Abdi on The Trend, Vera Sidika stated that women often judge her, whereas men appreciate her more.
"It's just that I feel like unlike poles attract not sexually but you can always have an understanding because with females they always have that kind of negative feedback and having to deal with that is not as easy especially because I'm in the limelight," she told Amina.
As a result of this, Vera Sidika revealed that she only has three close friends, with the rest of her acquaintances being men.
"I have like three close friends and the rest are not really close, with men there is an understanding," she added.
Her preference for male friends is also reflected in her new song, Mimi, which talks about her life after bleaching.
