Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso has returned to Kenya after a two-month stay in India and the United Kingdom seeking medical treatment for an undisclosed condition.
According to Deputy Governor Dr. Hillary Barchok, Laboso arrived in the country on Sunday morning and will continue with her treatment.
Laboso had left the country on May 29 for the United Kingdom before being transferred to India for further treatment.
Her return has ended weeks of speculation among residents who had been pitching camp at her home and office inquiring about her medical progress.
Dr. Barchok had previously asked residents to stop speculating about Laboso's health, stating that it was a family affair and that they should give her the support she needs without intruding into their privacy.
Laboso is expected to continue with her treatment locally.
