Arsenal have returned with an improved offer for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney, after a first bid was rejected last month.
The Gunners had initially offered £15m for the Scotland defender, but Celtic held out for closer to £25m.
According to reports, Arsenal's new offer includes appearance-based add-ons that could reach the £25m mark, although the figure is not guaranteed upfront.
Celtic's resolve is likely to be tested with the offer, as the club's board contemplates their next step.
Tierney is currently recovering from hip surgery and has missed the start of pre-season.
Despite this, Arsenal are desperate to bring in the left-back this summer, with Unai Emery having a transfer budget of just £40m to spend.
The club is also looking to raise funds through the sale of players, including Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
