On July 14, 2019, Ambassador Yvonne Khamati's family and close friends threw her a surprise baby shower at an undisclosed location in Karen.
The blue and white themed event was attended by CS Amina Mohammed, who brought joy to the mother-to-be.
Yvonne, who got engaged to her Nigerian lover Yakubu Laiwola last year, is expecting her second child. She has another child from her previous marriage.
She took to social media to express her gratitude, saying, 'Cheiii when your boss lady/big sister Amb Amina Mohammed organizes a surprise shower.'
Yvonne had earlier gone on a babymoon to Arusha with close friends and family, including Samburu West MP Naisula Lesuuda.
