AFCON Semi-Finals: Algeria vs Nigeria ¶
On July 14, 2019, Algeria and Nigeria will clash in the semi-finals of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, with the winner advancing to the final.
Algeria secured their spot in the semi-finals after defeating Cote D'Ivoire in a dramatic penalty shootout, 4-3, in the quarter-finals.
Nigeria, on the other hand, defeated South Africa in the last eight, courtesy of a late winner from Troost-Ekong.
The Desert Foxes have maintained a perfect record in the tournament, scoring ten goals and conceding just one in five matches.
Meanwhile, Gernot Rohr's side has gradually developed confidence in each game, and despite their last group game to Madagascar, Nigeria remains a favourite to win the tournament.
