Will Jubilee be a government of the people, by the people for the people?

October 29th, 2017, marked a pivotal moment in Kenya's history, with the repeat election sparking widespread concerns about the credibility of the electoral process.

According to the Independent Elections and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairman, the turnout in the repeat election was a mere 33%, casting doubts on the validity of the election results.

Many Kenyans feel that they are tired of participating in an election whose results are predetermined, raising questions about the true representation of the people's will.

As President Uhuru Kenyatta prepares to take office, concerns about the legitimacy of the Jubilee administration continue to grow.

With the country deeply divided, it remains to be seen whether Jubilee will truly be a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
