July 13, 2019 - Pastor Lucy Natasha has dismissed claims of a romantic relationship with Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko.

Photos of the two surfaced online in 2007, after Sonko visited her home to pay his respects following the death of her father, Kioko Kivanguli.

However, this did not put an end to the rumors, as Sonko, who was a senator at the time, later invited Natasha to Machakos, where he laid a wreath on her father's grave.

This move sparked controversy among those who felt there was more to the relationship than met the eye.

In an interview with K24 TV on July 12, Natasha, who leads the Prophetic Latter Glory Ministry International, denied the claims, saying she only prays for Sonko as any other believer would.

"The photos I took with Sonko when he was a senator were just casual photos. People create issues that are not true sometimes. The truth is that Governor Sonko is a man of God," she said.

"I have asked him for prayers many times. Don't believe this rumor," she added.
