President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda is scheduled to visit Tanzania on June 7, 2019, for a one-day private visit.
During his visit, Museveni will meet with President John Magufuli at his residence in Chato, Tanzania, where they will hold a private meeting.
The visit comes just a week after Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta visited Magufuli at his residence in Chato, Tanzania.
According to the BBC, the main agenda of the meeting between Museveni and Magufuli is to discuss business issues, particularly in the East African region.
President Kenyatta had visited Tanzania on June 1, 2019, and had expressed his gratitude to the people of Chato and Tanzania for their warm welcome.
"I am honored to be the first foreign head of state to visit Chato, and I have come here as a brother and friend," President Kenyatta said during his visit.
