Kenyan consumers have been eagerly waiting for a chance to buy phones and pay for them in monthly installments. While major carriers like Safaricom, Telkom, and Airtel have yet to offer this service, companies like Aspira Kenya are filling the void.
Aspira Kenya has partnered with Xiaomi Kenya to offer fans a chance to buy any available Xiaomi product and pay for it in monthly installments. This partnership follows in the footsteps of Lipa Later, which already works with multiple outlets in Kenya to offer consumers an easy way of owning smartphones and other products they desire.
Aspira Kenya also works with Avechi Kenya on a similar program, allowing consumers to buy products and pay for them in installments. The company has an Android app available in the Google Play Store, which enables users to sign up for an account, apply for financing, calculate their monthly payments, and shop from Aspira's retail partners.
With the Aspira app, users can also apply for multiple loans, get a new product while still servicing their old loans, and view their loan schedules. The app is available for download via the link below.
Aspira Kenya announced the partnership on Twitter, saying, "Great news! You can now #BuyNowPayLater for all your @xiaomi_kenya products when you purchase with Aspira." The company will be attending the official launch of the Mi Home store this Sunday, May 14th.
