On March 11, 2022, a coalition agreement was signed by six political parties in Kenya, binding them under the One Kenya Alliance (OKA). The agreement was signed by Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, NARC Kenya's Martha Karua, and Kenya African National Union's Gideon Moi.
Other parties that signed the agreement include the United Democratic Party (UDP) led by Cyrus Jirongo, the Farmers Party's Irungu Nyakera, and the Movement for Democracy and Growth's Dave Ochieng.
The agreement was signed despite some disgruntlement brewing over the Azimio-OKA deal due to mistrust.
"We have postponed the signing to address legal issues that have arisen. In the spirit of national unity, we are united as principals because of the ideal that us bind us together," Karua had earlier stated.
