Wazito FC, the team that dominated the National Super League (NSL) last season, is gearing up to celebrate their title win and promotion to the Kenya Premier League (KPL) with a grand party.
On Saturday, July 13th, the team will host a Sh10 million bash at Carnivore grounds, featuring performances by Kenyan musicians Fena Gitu and Octopizzo. DJ Joe Mfalme and DJ Protoge will also be on the decks.
Wazito FC owner, Ricardo Badoer, has been instrumental in the team's success, often congratulating them on their wins and motivating them to perform better after losses. Badoer, a Dubai-based businessman, is currently in the country and has been making his presence known on social media.
As the team prepares for the new season, they have already begun making signings, securing the services of four new players, including former Vihiga United captain and Kenyan International Benard Ochieng.
The party is expected to be a colourful and memorable experience, with tickets available for purchase. Regular tickets cost Ksh 1200, while VIP tickets can be acquired for Ksh 2500. Gates open at 5:00 pm.
