On July 12, 2019, Ricardo Badoer, the Swedish owner of Wazito FC, took to social media to showcase his new V8 vehicle with a customized number plate.

The Dubai-based businessman is currently in Kenya organizing the club's end-of-year party, set to take place on Saturday at Carnivore grounds.

As the team's owner, Badoer has invested heavily in Wazito FC, making it one of the most financially stable teams in the Kenyan Premier League.

He has signed seven new players, including Derrick Otanga, Joshua Otieno, Kelvin Omondi, Bernard Ochieng, Bixente Otieno, Pistone Mutamba, and Gad Mathews.

Badoer's tweet read, "Honk your horn when you see the V8 with the Wazito 69 plate. El Presidente is here."
