On Thursday, July 11, 2019, police in Nyali, Mombasa, arrested 11 Kenyan girls for engaging in pornography.
Two individuals, believed to be the masterminds behind the operation, were also apprehended in a posh apartment in the area.
According to Mombasa Police Commander Johnston Ipara, sex toys, including vibrators and plastic penises, were recovered from the scene.
Mr. Ipara further stated that 15 laptops and 10 computers were seized, which were allegedly used in the suspects' indecent activities.
The suspects are being held at Nyali Police Station and are expected to appear in court later on Friday.
Mr. Ipara revealed that the two ringleaders will face charges of engaging in pornography and may also be charged with involving young women in prostitution.
