Diamond Platinumz Appointed as AIDS Awareness Ambassador

On July 10, 2019, the Tanzania Commission for AIDS (TACAIDS) appointed Diamond Platinumz as an ambassador for AIDS awareness in Tanzania.

The musician, who is the owner of the Wasafi Records label, will use his platform to promote awareness about HIV/AIDS and reproductive health among the youth in Tanzania.

According to Jumanne Issango, the deputy executive director of TACAIDS, the commission aims to reach out to a large number of young people and educate them about reproductive health and HIV/AIDS prevention.

As part of his new role, Diamond Platinumz will use his annual Wasafi Festival to promote awareness about HIV/AIDS and reproductive health.

During a meeting with the TACAIDS team, Diamond Platinumz emphasized the importance of promoting awareness about HIV/AIDS and reproductive health among the youth.

He also urged women to refuse sex with men who do not use condoms and men who refuse to use condoms.

According to Diamond Platinumz, men are the ones who lead the way in pressuring women into having sex without protection, and it is time for women to refuse men who do not use condoms.
