Published on July 12, 2019, the Lionesses are favourites to win the Elgon Cup after a convincing 44-13 victory in the first leg.
Despite having a solid advantage, coach Felix Oloo warns that the tie is far from over and the team will not take chances.
"It is not over until it's over. We want to start on a high, something which we failed to do in the first leg when we really struggled in the opening minutes," Oloo told Standard Sports.
Seven changes have been made to the team, with five uncapped players set to make their debut in national colours.
The debutants are Winfred Maina, Winnie Owino, Anne Njeri, Victoria Gichure, and Diana Awino, while Millicent Opala is set to make her first appearance for the team in four years.
"The changes are purely tactical and I also want to give game-time to more players so that they can get accustomed to this stage ahead of the World Cup qualifiers," Oloo said.
The team is using the Elgon Cup to prepare for the 2021 World Cup qualifiers in South Africa next month.
