On July 11, 2019, Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission detectives arrested Nyakach MP Aduma Owuor in Kisumu over the loss of funds at the Nairobi County Government during Governor Evans Kidero's tenure.
According to the EACC, the monies were lost during Owuor's tenure as City Hall's Legal Officer.
As reported by EACC Communications Officer Yassin Ali, Owuor was being driven to Nairobi for further questioning.
