On two separate occasions, a Nairobi resident narrowly escaped being drugged and robbed in broad daylight. Her harrowing experiences serve as a stark reminder of the dangers lurking in the city's streets.

The first incident occurred on December 24th, when she boarded a matatu heading to town. As the bus stopped at Kenyatta Hospital, a group of smartly dressed men rushed onto the vehicle, sparking her suspicions.

She recalled feeling unwell and sleepy shortly after one of the men passed her seat, holding a small bag. However, she managed to stand up and exit the bus at GPO, narrowly avoiding the would-be robbers.

Her wallet, which she had used to pay the conductor earlier, was later discovered missing.

Just a few days ago, she experienced a similar ordeal. While walking to Kencom, a man held her hand, claiming to know someone else. He quickly released her hand and walked away, only to be replaced by another individual who approached her.

Feeling weak and drowsy, she stumbled into an M-pesa shop, where the staff kindly allowed her to rest until she felt better. It was there that she spotted the man who had held her hand earlier, who quickly fled the scene.

She credits her narrow escapes to divine intervention and urges others to be vigilant and pray for their safety.
