Former Liverpool star Daniel Sturridge has been reunited with his missing dog Lucci, just 24 hours after announcing the pet's disappearance.

On Tuesday, Sturridge took to social media to confirm that his dog had gone missing, alleging that thieves had broken into his Los Angeles apartment and stolen the dog.

Sturridge, 29, had offered a £30,000 reward to anyone who could bring back his dog and made several appeals on his social media platforms.

On Wednesday, Twitter user 'Killa Fame' responded with several pictures and a video claiming to have located Lucci, saying 'Man i got him.'

Sturridge had previously said, 'Listen, someone has broken into the house in LA, took my dog from the house. Listen, whoever knows who broke into my crib, I'll pay you anything, I'm dead serious.'

He also offered '20 or 30' grand to anyone who could bring back his dog, saying 'Whoever brings my dog back, 20 grand, straight up. Straight up. 20 Gs. 30 Gs, whatever. Bring my dog back. Bring my dog back to this house, I am moving out of this b anyway.'
