Published on July 10, 2019, reports have emerged that Tottenham Hotspur may be eyeing Leeds United's Kalvin Phillips as a potential replacement for Victor Wanyama.
Wanyama, who has struggled with knee injuries since last season, reunited with his former Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino at White Hart Lane in 2016 after a £11million move.
However, with the arrival of Tanguy Ndombele, many wondered if Wanyama would be replaced. But now, it seems Tottenham may have another midfielder in mind.
According to reports, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino would replace Wanyama with Leeds' Phillips if he leaves the club this summer.
It is believed the club are looking for a fee of around £30m for Phillips' signature and have opened negotiations over a new contract in a bid to keep him.
