July 10, 2019 - Gospel singer Willy Paul has sparked controversy with his latest social media post, where he expressed his love for Jamaican singer Alaine.
The two collaborated on the hit song 'I Do' and their music video featured intimate scenes, leading many to believe they were in a romantic relationship.
In a heartfelt letter, Willy Paul hinted that the two were indeed in a relationship that has since ended, and he's reaching out to Alaine to rekindle the romance.
"Alaine, we were so good together dear, to be honest meeting you was the best thing ever coz it was like a dream come true when u see a man admitting to such, that means something big," Willy Paul wrote.
He also denied any romantic involvement with Tanzanian artist Nandy, whom many have assumed to be his lover due to their intimate appearances and collaborations.
"Me and her are just friends…. nothing more… that shouldn’t even worry you dear," Willy Paul said, disowning Nandy.
Willy Paul went on to beg Alaine to take him back, confessing that her silence is killing him and that he's even resorted to posting on social media to get her attention.
