Published on July 10, 2019, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has dismissed speculation surrounding Paul Pogba's future, attributing the rumors to agents' talk.
Manchester United's pre-season tour has been overshadowed by speculation surrounding the future of midfielder Paul Pogba. The 26-year-old World Cup-winner has been linked with Real Madrid and Juventus, but Solskjaer insists there have been no bids for the player.
'There are no bids for our players. Agents talk all the time. We are Manchester United, we don't have to sell players,' Solskjaer said at a press conference in Perth, Australia.
Despite the speculation, Solskjaer remains optimistic about Pogba's future at the club, saying 'he's a top, top bloke. He's a great professional. He's never been any problem.'
Uncertainty has also surrounded the future of goalkeeper David de Gea, but Solskjaer is hopeful that the player will remain at Old Trafford, despite only one year remaining on his contract.
United have been linked with several transfer targets, including Southampton's Mario Lemina and Spurs playmaker Christian Eriksen, but Solskjaer remains coy on his transfer targets.
