King Kaka and Kansoul's collaboration, 'Kula Vako', has been making waves in the Kenyan music scene since its release on Friday last week. The song, which translates to 'take it easy' in Swahili, has been trending on YouTube, peaking at the second most-watched video in Kenya from last week.
According to King Kaka, the song was a long time coming, as he and Kansoul have been friends for years and have collaborated on other tracks, including 'Ligi Soo'. 'Kula Vako is basic slang for 'take it easy', learn to have less pressure on yourself in this beautiful life,' King Kaka said in an interview.
The song was produced by Jack-Jack on the Beat for Kaka Empire studio and is King Kaka's 7th release this year. The 'Kula Vako' visuals, directed by Ricky Bekko and filmed in Nairobi, showcase King Kaka and Kansoul's Mejja, Kid Kora, and Madtraxx enjoying themselves in vibrant and carefree scenes.
