Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge's dog, Lucky Lucci, was stolen from his California home on an unknown date in 2019.

Sturridge, 29, made an emotional plea on social media, asking the public for help in finding his dog.

He offered a KSh 4 million (£30,000) reward for the return of his Pomeranian dog with husky markings.

Sturridge, who is currently without a club after being released by Liverpool at the end of the 2018-19 season, made 18 appearances for the Reds in that season, scoring two goals.

He also played seven matches in the Champions League and registered one goal.

Sturridge's dog, Lucky Lucci, has an Instagram page with over 2,000 followers and often accompanies him on his travels.

Sturridge took to social media to appeal for the return of his dog, saying, 'Listen, somebody has broken into the house in LA and took my dog from the house.' He also said, 'Listen, whoever knows who broke into my crib, I’ll pay you anything.'
