Published on July 9, 2019, a survey conducted by TUKO.co.ke revealed that a significant number of Kenyans have lost faith in Deputy President William Ruto's ability to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.

According to the survey, 60% of respondents expressed doubts about Ruto's chances of becoming the next president, citing a lack of sufficient popularity.

Despite Uhuru's warnings to government officials against engaging in premature politics, the legacy politics continue to gain momentum.

While some Kenyans believe Ruto has the potential to lead the country, others are skeptical about his ability to win the presidency in 2022.

TUKO.co.ke reached out to some citizens to gauge their opinions on Ruto's leadership abilities and whether he has what it takes to lead the nation.
