GOtv Cuts Prices for Lite Package, Offers More Affordable Entertainment ¶
GOtv has announced a price reduction for its Lite package, making high-quality entertainment more accessible to Kenyans. The new prices take effect from January 21, 2022.
According to Nancy Matimu, MultiChoice Kenya Managing Director, the company's priority is to put its customers at the heart of its business. 'Our priority is to put our customers at the heart of our business. As such, we have taken the decision to ensure that we continually make our entertainment more affordable and accessible to democratize access to quality entertainment available on the GOtv platforms,' she said.
The price reduction applies to the monthly, quarterly, and annual billing cycles. GOtv Lite customers can enjoy the best picture quality and widest terrestrial signal coverage across Kenya with a sports highlights channel SuperSport Blitz (channel 30) and up to 22 entertainment channels, including TV47, Ramogi TV, and Maisha Magic East.
GOtv Lite customers can also upgrade to other packages to suit their entertainment needs. The company offers various packages, including GOtv Value, GOtv Plus, GOtv Max, and GOtv Supa, with prices ranging from KES 550 to KES 1,499 per month.
GOtv customers will enjoy additional benefits until March 31, 2022, if they upgrade their package. Customers on Lite can upgrade to GOtv Value and then to GOtv Plus at no additional cost, while customers on Value can upgrade to GOtv Plus and then to GOtv Max at no extra cost.
