January 15, 2022, marked a significant milestone for the production of 'Black Panther II' as actress Letitia Wright returned to the set after a brief hiatus due to her injuries.
Wright, who plays the role of Shuri in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, suffered a critical shoulder fracture and concussion in November, forcing the production team to suspend filming.
According to a spokesperson for Wright, she has now fully recovered and production has resumed.
Wright's character, Princess of Wakanda, is expected to play a significant role in the sequel, which is set to premiere on November 11th, 2022.
The late Chadwick Boseman led the 2018 film, and his role has not been recast following his passing in 2020.
