Published on January 14, 2022, ODM leader Raila Odinga is set to make a one-day tour of Taita-Taveta County.
On Friday, Raila Odinga will arrive in Maktau, Mwatate Constituency, where he will be received by local leaders, including Governor Granton Samboja, area MP Andrew Mwadime, and Senator Jones Mwaruma.
During his visit, Raila Odinga will officially launch several water projects undertaken by the local County Government in Maktau and Overseer areas, which have been affected by water shortages for years.
He will also address two public rallies, one in Overseer town and another in Mwatate town, where he will deliver a message of peace, love, hope, and a prosperous Kenya through his Azimio la Umoja initiative.
