Published on January 14, 2022, a chance encounter at the dentist's office left one person wondering if they had stumbled upon a familiar face from their past.

While waiting for an appointment, the author noticed a DDS diploma bearing the name of a man who had been in their high school class over 40 years ago.

However, upon seeing the man, the author quickly dismissed any thoughts of a connection, as he appeared to be significantly older than they had expected.

After the dentist examined their teeth, the author asked if he had attended Waseca High School, to which he proudly replied, 'Yes, I did. I'm a Bluejay.'

When asked when he graduated, the dentist replied, 'In 1959. Why do you ask?'

The author then exclaimed, 'You were in my class!' The dentist looked at them closely before asking, 'What did you teach?'

It turned out that the author and the dentist had been classmates, with the author having graduated before the dentist.
