Published on January 12, 2022, MARAMOJA transport, a ride-hailing platform available in Kenya, has announced a partnership with Switchlink Africa to make its API accessible to service providers.
The partnership will enable Fintechs and Insurtechs to connect to MARAMOJA's ecosystem via a single API, while Third-Party Service Providers can directly connect with MARAMOJA's drivers' partners in the platform.
According to MARAMOJA, customers will have the opportunity to take rides on credit, as well as purchase additional insurance covers and other products through the API.

David Waruinge, General Manager at Switchlink Africa, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, "The MARAMOJA platform will potentially connect millions of users in the continent, providing exciting opportunities for the ecosystem."
Ronald Mahondo, CEO of MARAMOJA Transport Limited, noted that the partnership is a new strategy to unlock value in the ecosystem, with the potential of growing the customer base, increasing their lifetime value, and enabling them to access more services on the go.
