Manchester United's pre-season tour in Australia got off to a dramatic start with a heated clash between star players Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard.
According to a clip shared by Manchester United's official Twitter account, Pogba and Lingard appeared to exchange heated words upon arrival in Perth, with Pogba taking a step towards Lingard before being pulled away by defender Victor Lindelof.
The incident occurred on July 9, 2019, as the team landed in Australia after a 16-hour flight and began their training regime.
Despite intense transfer speculation surrounding his future at Old Trafford, Pogba had reportedly agreed to join the team for their pre-season tour, but the altercation with Lingard has raised concerns about the state of their relationship.
