Four Men Charged Over Alleged Trespassing of Sh 350 Million Karen Land

On January 3, 2022, Mohammed Mohammud Wako alias Hussein Mohammed and three others allegedly entered land parcel LR No. 1159/88 of M/S Goodison Trust Corporation Limited in Karen, Nairobi, in a bid to take possession by violently breaking and entering the said property.

Wako, who faces 11 other counts, including forgery and making false documents, is accused of making a false deed plan No. 422362 dated September 23, 2020, purporting it to be a valid deed and genuine deed issued by the Director Surveys with intent to defraud Goodison Trust the land valued at Sh 350 million.

He is also accused of making several other deed plans for the same land without authority and forging the signature of one Stephen Maina Gitira, a deed plan officer.

On January 7, 2022, Wako was granted a bond of Sh 2 million with alternative cash bail of Sh 1 million, while his four co-accused persons were granted a bond of Sh 500,000 with alternative cash bail of Sh 200,000 each.
