January 6, 2022, marked a significant milestone in the recovery journey of Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, who underwent surgery to correct third-degree burns on his legs.

After initial treatment in Kenya, Kuria traveled to Dubai for specialized stem cell surgery, a pioneering procedure that accelerates the healing of burn wounds by inducing skin regeneration and reducing scarring.

According to Kuria, he is recovering well and has been cleared by doctors to return to Kenya in February, where he will continue serving the people of Gatundu North, Mt. Kenya, and the country at large.

‘I’m happy that I am recovering and that doctors have allowed me to go back to Kenya in February so that I continue serving the people of Gatundu North, Mt. Kenya and the country at large,’ Kuria said.

The Chama Cha Kazi (CCK) party leader was pictured in a wheelchair with foot casts on both feet, a testament to his remarkable progress.

As Kuria prepares to return to Kenya, he is set to hold a thanksgiving ceremony at Thika Stadium in Kiambu County, where he is also expected to make a major political declaration.
