On January 5, 2022, gospel musician Guardian Angel and his long-time girlfriend Esther Musila made their love official by tying the knot in a colourful wedding.
The couple, who have been together for over a year, exchanged vows in a ceremony attended by close family members and friends.
Guardian Angel, whose real name is Peter Omwaka, took to social media to express his joy, saying, 'And on my birthday, God did it again. Mr. & Mrs. Omwaka. Love wins. Better one step in the right direction than a thousand steps in the wrong direction. You (Musila) are one perfect step I made my love, thank God for the day I met you.'
Musila also shared a heartfelt message for her husband, writing, 'To find someone as special as you out of all the people in the world is something I never imagined. Let’s do life together. I married my best friend.'
The couple's love story has been an inspiration to many, despite their 20-year age difference. Guardian Angel is 31, while Musila is 51, making her 20 years older than him.
Despite the initial criticism they faced when they confirmed their relationship, the couple has proven their love to be genuine and authentic.
