Comedian Akuku Danger has made significant progress in his recovery after being hospitalized with collapsed lungs. According to his close friend and fellow comedian Sandra Dacha, Akuku has started asking for food and has even begun talking, albeit weakly.

On January 5, 2022, Sandra shared an update on Akuku's condition, stating that his brain is functioning properly and he remembers things. She also revealed that 75% of his lungs that had failed have started to regenerate, but it will take time for him to fully recover.

The hospital bill for Akuku's treatment has risen to Ksh1.5 million, and Sandra has appealed to fans to contribute to a fundraiser to help cover the costs. Some fans had suggested transferring Akuku to a public hospital, but his family explained that public hospitals are currently facing a shortage of medical oxygen.

Nairobi West Hospital was the only option for Akuku's treatment, and his family is grateful for the care he has received so far. Sandra's update has brought hope to fans who were worried about Akuku's condition, and many have expressed their support for his recovery.
