January 5, 2022, marked a significant day in the transfer window as Newcastle United agreed to sign Kieran Trippier from Atletico Madrid for a reported 12 million pounds ($16 million).
The 31-year-old England international fullback is set to reunite with manager Eddie Howe, who previously signed him from Manchester City for Burnley in January 2012.
