On Sunday evening, a gruesome incident occurred at a home in Taru, Kinango, Kwale County, where a 54-year-old man allegedly killed his two daughters, aged five and seven, by slitting their throats.
The victims, Parelian Nduki Maingi and Maratina Maingi, were found in a pool of blood in their home, with deep cuts in their necks.
According to police reports, the man's wife, Bridget Ndunge Muema, had run away from the home after a heated argument with her husband, fearing for her life.
