On January 3, 2022, a grandmother was brought before Kabarnet Law Court, accused of murdering her 10-day-old granddaughter.
According to reports, the grandmother, Cheparsip Kunia, had been caring for her daughter, who had given birth at Baringo Referral Hospital, but was frustrated by the prolonged stay due to birth complications.
