Fishmonger Denies Fraud Charges

On diverse dates between October 24, 2020 and April 8, 2021, a fishmonger allegedly committed a fraud in Nairobi County.

Ann Wangui Nduta, a fishmonger, has been charged with fraudulently obtaining Sh2.1 million for supply of fish feeds.

She appeared before Milimani Senior Resident Magistrate Jane Kamau and denied the charge.

According to the court, Nduta falsely pretended to have a business deal with Haman Mbugua Wambui to sell fish feeds.

She was released on a cash bail of Sh500,000 pending hearing and determination of the case.
