Actress Grace Ekirapa and her husband Pascal Tokodi have announced they are expecting their first child together, putting to rest speculation about her fertility.
Ekirapa had previously spoken out against pressure from fans to have children, stating that it was unfair for outsiders to impose their expectations on married couples.
"What I am saying is, nobody really has control over how life will come to this world or how it will leave. God gives and God takes. It is unfair for an outsider to impose on a married couple's life and even raise insults about their life and why they are not bringing children into the world. My heart breaks because there are soo many people out here who are quick to hurt others with their words by raising demands, insults and accusations before knowing what the other person is going through," Ekirapa shared in a previous statement.
Ekirapa recently took to social media to express her joy at being pregnant, captioning a photo of her baby bump, "The Lord continues to Perfect all that concerns our lives and it is beautiful in our eyes. This is a story we shall tell one day. Happy New Year from our growing Family❤️❤️❤️ Cc @pascaltokodi"
Tokodi reciprocated the joy, writing, "A place in my heart that I never knew was empty, has been filled."
The couple, known for their strong marriage, are among the most sought-after celebrity couples in Kenya.
