On a fateful Sunday morning, January 3, 2022, tragedy struck along the Eldoret-Webuye highway when a 14-seater matatu collided with a stationary lorry, claiming the lives of eight people.
The matatu, which was headed to Nairobi from Bungoma, was carrying a group of passengers who were not so fortunate to survive the devastating accident.
