On December 31, 2021, during a New Year's Eve show at Garden City Mall, Churchill took a break from the performance and asked the audience to stand with Akuku Danger, who was in a critical condition.

Akuku Danger had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Nairobi West hospital in Ongata Rongai after one of his lungs collapsed. His family had taken to social media to highlight his plight and urge well-wishers to support them.

Churchill's fans responded quickly, raising Ksh400,000 in just minutes. The comedian's peers, including Maina Kageni and Sandra Dacha, praised Churchill for his efforts in assisting Akuku Danger.

"A man who's got a heart of gold," Maina Kageni described Churchill. Sandra Dacha also lauded Churchill, saying, "But this man Churchill. He managed to raise 400K yesterday for Akuku Danger in a span of three minutes. What more can I say! Thank you," she posted.

This was not the first time Kenyans had come to the aid of a Churchill comedian. In July 2020, they raised funds to assist George Maina (Njoro) to turn his life around.
