Kenyan comedian Akuku Danger's health has taken a turn for the worse, with one of his lungs collapsing, according to sources close to his family.

Initially admitted to Nairobi Women's Hospital in Rongai last week, Akuku Danger was re-admitted after his condition deteriorated.

His friend and fellow comedian Sandra Dacha took to Instagram to share an update on Akuku Danger's condition, stating that he is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and fighting for his life.

"This photo was taken last week when he was admitted at Nairobi Women's Hospital-Rongai and was discharged, put on medication, and now he has been re-admitted," Dacha wrote.

She requested Kenyans to pray for Akuku Danger, adding, "One of his lungs has already collapsed and is currently in the I.C.U fighting for his life. I ask you all to keep him in your prayers, God is a faithful GOD. Let's all trust in him."

Another close friend, Boaz Hosea, also confirmed that Akuku Danger is yet to be transferred to Nairobi West Hospital, where a deposit of Kshs 200,000 is expected.

"He is to be transferred to Nairobi West Hospital as soon as possible, but they have asked for a deposit of 200K," Hosea wrote, adding, "We are appealing to friends to help us raise the amount."
