On December 24th, 2021, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) announced several job vacancies ahead of the 2022 General Election.
The Commission is seeking to recruit individuals for various positions, including Secretary/Chief Executive Officer (CS/CEO) and Deputy Commission Secretary/Operation.
Additionally, the IEBC is recruiting County Accountant (Turkana), County Supply Chain Management (Nyeri), and Senior Election Officers for several constituencies, including Muhoroni, Buuri, Kilifi North, Gichugu, Kuresoi North, Kajiado Central, Lamu North, and Teso South.
Interested applicants are required to submit both online and hardcopy applications. Online applications can be accessed through the IEBC jobs portal https://jobs.iebc.or.ke, while hardcopy applications should be addressed to the chairman of the IEBC.
Applicants are required to submit copies of certificates, National ID, and testimonials indicating the job title on the left corner of the envelope.
According to the IEBC, only applicants submitting both physical and online applications will be considered, and only successful candidates will be required to submit integrity clearance certificates from respective statutory bodies.
The application deadline for Commission Secretary (CEO) and Deputy Commission Secretary (DCS) is January 21st, 2022, while other posts have until January 12th, 2022, to submit their applications.
