Ken Lusaka Advocates for Women in Leadership

Published on December 24, 2021, Speaker of the Senate Ken Lusaka has called on women nationwide to step up and vie for leadership positions to achieve constitutional gender equality.

According to Lusaka, women who are already in leadership positions have demonstrated excellent qualities and have served the nation well, making it imperative for others to follow suit and compete for leadership positions in 2022.

During a ceremony at the Naibu Kamishina's office in Kamukuywa, Lusaka emphasized the importance of supporting women in leadership roles, stating, 'We should support our women because the tasks performed by men can also be performed by women even better.'
