On July 7, 2019, Diamond Platnumz marked a special day in the lives of his mother, Sandra Kassim, and his fiancée, Tanasha Donna. The two women were celebrating their birthdays, and the occasion was made even more significant by the fact that they share a birthday and are family.
As expected, the party was a grand affair, with only the 'who's who' in East Africa in attendance, including musicians and public figures. The event was a double celebration, with Tanasha Donna dominating social media, but also marking Mama Diamond's special day.
Eric Omondi, a Kenyan comedian, was one of the MCs representing Kenya and had the crowd in stitches. The birthday girls then danced as the cake was being ushered in.
One of the highlights of the party was the announcement of the gender of their expected child. Diamond Platnumz revealed that Tanasha Donna is seven months pregnant and that they are expecting a boy. This will be Tanasha's first child, while Diamond has three other children from past relationships.
As is customary with famous people, the birthday girls were showered with gifts, including brand new Toyota V8 vehicles. The party ended with the two being gifted new cars, setting the bar high for their next birthday celebration.
