One of the two computer labs at Uhuru Gardens Primary School, which is a model ICT integrated classroom complete with computer hardware fully fitted with interactive digital learning content based on the new Competency Based Curriculum (CBC).

According to Robert Motari, a teacher at Uhuru Gardens Primary School, the school has two computer labs complete with a server room, smart boards, projectors, and computer hardware fully fitted with interactive digital learning content based on the new Competency Based Curriculum.

Speaking during the event, Rosebella Ojiambo, Chairlady KPSA Nairobi, emphasized the importance of hosting such events to prepare school directors to handle the demands of running a modern day school.

The computer labs at the school were constructed and fully equipped using a grant from the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), with the interactive digital learning content developed and installed by Kenyan ICT firm, Atlancis Technologies.

As a publisher of digital learning content, Bancy Njuguna, iLearn Project Champion, stated that it was essential to prioritize the CBC and KICD approval before introducing their content to schools.
