December 18, 2021, marked another day in the ongoing war of words between city lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi and Nyando-based veteran blogger Robert Alai.
Abdullahi, a Senior Counsel, took to Twitter to launch a morning attack on Alai, belittling him as an academic dwarf devoid of the capacity to sit on the same table as him.
The lawyer was referring to an earlier luncheon with his fellow learned friends Prof. Makau Mutua and Donald Kipkorir, where they engaged in real cultured discourse.
Abdullahi then challenged Alai to organize a similar discussion but with unschooled Kenyans, like himself, who have no formal education.
He also made fun of Alai's higher education credentials, claiming that he got his degrees courtesy of Jubilee Party's 'adult education' initiative.
However, Alai quickly fired back, clarifying that he is in fact a Computer Science graduate.
He also pointed out that, unlike Law, Computer Science is an engineering and not an arts degree.
The exchange of banter between the two frenemies comes after they were involved in a heated discussion on Friday, December 17, 2021, where they announced they had decided to stake their money in the hotly contested 2022 presidential race.
